The Bahama Mama Billfish Classic is a tournament to celebrate women in angling, but also all about growing in this sport we love! We believe the more we fish together, the more we can achieve. It's also a chance for men to partner with women, either in mixed teams, or as supportive team mates, to share their fishing knowledge and create an unforgettable experience.

This tournament isn't just about fishing; its about empowerment, community, and having a blast fishing the beautiful waters of the Bahamas. Designed especially to encourage more women to step behind the reels, we invite everyone - men and women alike - to join us for a thrilling, competitive fishing experience!

Make no mistake, the tournament is open to all anglers. However, our unique point system awards (1) point per pound for every fish landed and doubles the stakes to (2) points per pound when landed by a female angler in the meat division. Same concept in the Billfish division as well. That's why the more women fishing on your team, the greater your team's advantage!

Hosted at the Old Bahama Bay Resort & Marina

The Bahama Mama Billfish Classic will be hosted at the Old Bahama Bay Marina, located in West End, Grand Bahama Island, only 66 miles from the Port of Palm Beach, Fl.

The resort operates a full-service marina offering high-speed fuel (92 octane gas and diesel), with 63-slips and a controlling depth of 7 feet at mean low tide and gated with 24-hour security.

Old Bahama Bay offers quick and efficient on-site Bahamian Customs and Immigration with the option of pre-clearing through Island Fast Pass.
